Welcome!

Sewing Sisters began after sisters Chris Arnold and Maureen Walker united their passion for church and sewing. They had both been sewing as a hobby and as a way to cut costs for clothing for themselves and their families. They had already been doing some small amount of sewing work for their church. So, to gain serious hands-on skill to better serve, Chris and Maureen went to train in Vestment Making at St. Meinrad Abbey in Indiana.

Soon after, they started designing and sewing vestments, banners and other church linens. Their repertoire soon expanded into a full line of ecclesiastical raiment and other ceremonial accessories. Now they are creating beautiful lovingly handcrafted creations for church officials and organizations as well as custom desinged articles for many happy customers.

Chris Arnold is a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marietta, GA.

Maureen Walker is a member of Transfiguration Catholic Church in Marietta, GA.
